Mariame McIntosh Robinson (President and CEO)

President and CEO Mariame McIntosh Robinson joined the Bank on February 1, 2016.

In addition to serving on the Board of Directors of First Global Bank Mrs Robinson served as a Partner at Portland Private Equity (PPE), a Caribbean focused private equity fund, where she led the Fund’s due diligence process and portfolio monitoring. She has also worked as a Management Consultant at the top global strategy consulting firms, advising CEOs of Fortune 500 companies and their management teams on growth strategy and operations. She has worked with McKinsey & Company and Bain & Company where she was an Engagement Manager in the New York office.

Mrs Robinson was the 1998 Jamaica Rhodes Scholar with an M.Phil in Economics from Oxford University, an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BSc. in Engineering from MIT.

Outside of work, Mrs. Robinson volunteers her time with TEACH Caribbean, a Jamaican education charity that she co-founded, and Katalyxt, an incubator and training organization for Jamaican entrepreneurs.

Stacie-Ann Wright (Chief Administrative Officer)

Stacie-Ann holds the position of Chief Administrative Officer and is responsible for providing executive leadership for three (3) critical functions of the bank namely; Credit Risk Administration; Operations; Strategy and Special Projects. She is a career banker, with over fourteen (14) years of progressive leadership experience at the Bank of Nova Scotia. She has also served in other executive leadership positions in the manufacturing and distribution sectors, in particular; Group Finance Executive for Bermudez Group Ltd. in Trinidad and Tobago and Interim Group Financial Controller for Diageo.

Ms Wright is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and also holds both a M.Sc. and B.Sc. Degree in Accounting, both from the University of the West Indies.

Josephine Bennett-Darmand (Chief Financial Officer)

Josephine Bennett-Darmand was appointed as Chief Financial Officer of First Global Bank on March 1, 2014. Prior to this, Mrs Bennett-Darmand held the position of Assistant General Manager at National Commercial Bank since 2004. Before joining NCB, Mrs Bennett-Darmand worked at Sagicor Investments in a number of capacities within the Financial Control area including Vice President and Senior Manager.

Mrs Bennett-Darmand holds an M.Sc. in Accounting and a B.Sc. in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies. She is also a Fellow at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica and a Certified Public Accountant, USA Certification.

Nichole Case (Senior Vice President, Technology)

Nichole Case joined First Global Bank in the position of Vice President, Information Technology, in 2014. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing all of the Bank’s technology related needs, including oversight of the core banking systems.

Nichole has over 10 years of experience in the banking industry, and is a certified Project Management Professional, PMP. She was most recently employed to Victoria Mutual Building Society as Project Manager, but prior to that, has held a number of positions in the Information Technology field. This includes a stint at the former Pan Caribbean Financial Services, where she started as Assistant Manager, IT Business Systems Development, and was assigned progressively increasing responsibilities, eventually being promoted to the post of Assistant Vice President, IT Business Systems Solutions. She is experienced in new system implementations and upgrades, inclusive of internet banking and electronic channels, and technology risk management.    Nichole’s professional background also includes a stint at NCB Jamaica, where she was Assistant General Manager, Head of Channel Delivery.

Nichole was awarded the PMP designation by the Project Management Institute, and is also a Certified Continuity Manager. She holds a MBA in Banking and Finance (Hons) from the University of the West Indies as well as a B.Sc. in Computer Science & Management (minor) from that institution. She is a past student of the Immaculate Conception High School. 

Norman Thompson (Vice President, Personal and Business Banking)

Norman was appointed Vice President, Personal and Business Banking on June 1, 2017. In this role, he is responsible for the design and implementation of strategic programmes aimed at optimizing sales capacity, product development and enhancement, as well as channel and client relationship management.

With over 25 years’ experience within the financial industry, Norman has worked in branch and network management, sales, delinquency management, micro-financing and small business development. He has an Executive Masters in Business Administration from the Mona School of Business and Management and a BSc in Banking and Finance from the University of the West Indies.

Dalton Fowles (Vice President eBusiness)

As the Vice President E-Business, Dalton Fowles leads the E-Business Department, covering such areas as On-line Banking Platform, ABM Service and Credit Card. With over fifteen years’ experience in the IT profession, Mr Fowles has been instrumental in the launch of FGB’s banking software, Global Access. His areas of expertise are IT operations management, systems and database administration expertise in technology driven industries (banking and telecommunications).

Mr Fowles served as Director of Information Services at Oceanic Digital, Systems and as Administrator/Supervisor Card Operations at RBTT.

Dave DaCosta (Vice President, Digital Marketing and Communications)

Dave was appointed Vice President, Digital Marketing and Communications effective July of 2017.

Dave was appointed Vice President, Digital Marketing and Communications effective July of 2017. In this role, his portfolio includes driving integrated, web-based marketing programs that create demand for FGB products, establishing brand credibility and accelerating growth across all business lines and managing the creation of high impact campaigns, promotions, and online experiences ensuring optimization of FGB’s web, mobile, and other e-channels’ providing a cohesive customer experience.

Prior to joining the FGB team, Dave held the position of Director of Marketing in a global media group and held several lead marketing positions at Diageo. He holds a Master of Science in International Marketing from Robert Gordon University at Aberdeen School of Business, Scotland, Graduate (MBA) Certificate from Tulane University as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Almeda University and a Diploma, Electronics and Telecommunications, University of Technology.
