No Account related Fees will be applied, once cardholders make their minimum monthly payment on time. Transaction related fees (e.g. cash advance fees), however, will apply.
General Information :
In order for the cardholder to enjoy the No Account related Fee benefit and the low interest rate of 42%, all of the following conditions must be met:
- the minimum monthly payment, as indicated on the statement, must be paid on or before the due date;
- the account should not go over the limit; and
- the account should not be past due/delinquent.
Virtual Card Feature:
If you have the need to purchase goods and services and/or pay bills via the internet, phone or mail, without having the need to physically swipe your credit card, then ask us about our virtual card feature. Anyone with an FGB credit card can get it. It’s simple. A separate unique credit card number will be assigned to you, along with a pre-specified portion of your overall approved credit card limit. That means that if the virtual card number is compromised during one of those transactions, then your remaining credit card limit is protected. This facility may be used anywhere that accepts a Jamaican-issued credit card.
Shared Limit Feature:
This feature allows all FGB credit cardholders to assign a portion of their approved credit card limit to an additional cardholder or to a virtual card. Taking advantage of this feature provides a systematic way to control spending and protects your full credit card limit from exposure.
