This loan is for all education related expenses.  There are three categories that features:

• Upfront approval for annual tuition with disbursements done each semester/term* as applicable, so you can rest assured that tuition for each year is there!  

With FGB you save time and money!  Tuition payments are deposited on your behalf to the institution of enrolment and you only pay Interest on the amount paid per/ semester

We’ve also made repayment convenient with standing order facility from your FGB account or if you prefer over-the-counter transactions, we do that too

Access:

Primary Education Loan – for a maximum of two children;

Secondary Education Loan – for a maximum of two children; and,

Tertiary Education Loan

Benefits of an FGB Education Loan:

Interest rate on education loan starts at 4.5% for secured facility and 18.75% unsecured with up to 60 Months to repay. 

Am I eligible, how much can I access and what will I need to apply?

All parents of children enrolled at the primary, secondary and or tertiary level may apply.  Adults pursuing tertiary programmes are also eligible.

Primary/Preparatory School Expenses – Access up to a maximum of JMD$500,000.00

Secondary School Expenses –      Access up to a maximum of JMD$800,000.00

Tertiary School Expenses –           Access up to a maximum of JMD$4,000,000.00

To complete the application process, you will need:

• Institution voucher stating the tuition amount and/ or Invoices/Receipts evidencing loan purpose
• A completed Consumer Credit Application
• TRN
• Valid Government –issued Photo ID
• Job Letter
• Last three (3) payslips
• Proof of address
